Diagnosis
Female scape yellowish-white; antennal clava in female strong, 2.4X as wide as width of 1st flagellomere, and without sense area; clava pointed at apex; clavomere 1 longer than 2; mesoscutum and scutellum metallic bluish-green, mesoscutum with midlobe with anterior 2/3 with raised and weak reticulation, posterior 1/3 with engraved and weak reticulation, scutellum with engraved and weak reticulation; male with mesoscutum and scutellum bright golden-red; femora yellowish-white; median carina on propodeum narrow, and narrows off in posterior part, 4.3X as long as wide; 1st gastral tergite with a narrow band of punctures close to posterior margin. Similar to opsiphanis, but the female is easily separated from opsiphanis through the strong antennal clava, but the males are not possible to separate.

Biology
From Phobetron hipparchia (Lepidoptera: Limacodidae); from an unidentified Microgasterinae (Hymenoptera: Braconidae) in Thyrinteina arnobia (Lepidoptera: Geometridae) on Eucalyptus sp. (Myrtaceae); from an unidentified larva on Hyeronima alchorneoides (Euphorbiaceae). Presumably a hyperparasitoid.
